My Journey

Hello! I am Jaume Brines, a native of Valencia, Spain. My career began with a deep passion for archaeology and history, which led me to work on archaeological projects across Europe, including Ireland, Austria, and Italy. In addition to my work on excavations, I have been the official guide Nº728 of the Valencian Community since 2014, offering tours in multiple languages.

If you are looking for a unique and personalized experience, you are in the right place. With multilingual skills in English, Spanish, Valencian, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German, I can connect with travelers from all over the world and offer exceptional experiences. My passion for ancient civilizations, cultural heritage, and local traditions drives every tour I offer. Fun fact: I am the only Jaume with an official guide license in Valencia.

Multilingual Expertise

One of the key aspects of my tours is that I can guide in a variety of languages, including Spanish, Valencian, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German. This allows me to offer highly personalized tours and ensure that each client feels comfortable and engaged, regardless of their native language.

Teaching and guiding in these languages not only enhances communication but also deepens the connection with the culture, offering a richer and more immersive experience.

Archaeological Experience

With over 10 years of archaeological experience, I have participated in significant excavations across Europe. My work ranges from medieval sites in La Valldigna to projects in Austria and Italy. This practical experience enriches my ability to provide a deep historical context during tours, especially in municipalities like Sagunto and Valencia, where the past comes alive through ruins and ancient structures.

As an archaeologist, I co-directed several excavations, such as those in Tavernes de la Valldigna, which gives me profound knowledge about the history of Valencia and its surroundings. This unique detail adds value and authenticity to every tour I offer.

Passion for Culture and Traditions

Valencia is not just my home; it is a living museum of culture. As a proud Valencian, I enjoy sharing the region's unique heritage with visitors. Whether introducing them to local festivals like Las Fallas or tasting traditional dishes like authentic paella, my goal is to offer immersive experiences that go beyond the typical tourist tour.

Additionally, my deep love for the Valencian language, music, and local crafts ensures that my tours reflect the authenticity of these traditions. For me, being a guide is not just a job; it is a way to preserve and share the cultural treasures of my region.
