La Beneficencia Cultural Center
La Beneficencia Museum Center, originally a convent in the 16th century, later became a charitable institution in the 19th century, supporting orphans and the poor. With the advent of democracy, it transformed into a significant cultural hub housing the Prehistoric Museum of Valencia, which was founded in 1927, and the Valencian Museum of Ethnology, established in 1983. The building itself is architecturally notable, with its preserved chapel now serving as an auditorium, along with its serene patios and greenery. The Prehistoric Museum displays artifacts from ancient times to the Roman period, with a particular emphasis on Iberian culture, while the Ethnology Museum presents tools and objects from both rural and urban life in a highly educational and engaging way.
