City Tour

The immense archaeological and monumental heritage of the city makes Valencia a place where various cultural routes can be undertaken. This outing is conceived as a first contact with the city, lasting three hours. In this way, visitors discover still unknown areas of the city, with the aim of bringing them closer to the life and past of Valencia. On this walk through the historic center, some of Valencia's emblematic streets and squares, such as those of the Virgen and the Reina, are explored firsthand, where the two main temples of the city stand out: the Basilica of the Desamparados and the Cathedral. Following the itinerary, the group visits the only building declared a World Heritage Site due to its imposing late Gothic architecture: the Silk Exchange, which represents the pinnacle of the 15th century, considered the Valencian Golden Age. However, before the end of the visit, there is also time to experience one of the traditional flavors: we are referring to the famous tigernut horchata.

Religious Heritage

Valencia is a city filled with a rich religious heritage with churches of different architectural styles, particularly highlighting the Gothic and Baroque styles. Among the Valencian churches, two stand out: the Cathedral, the main temple of the city, and the Church of San Nicolás. There are other temples that stand out in our city, but these two are of greatest interest to visitors. The Cathedral of Valencia is a beautiful example of a mixture of styles, as its construction spanned from its beginnings in the 13th century to its completion in the 18th century. It highlights the Catalan-influenced Gothic style, although the superposition of styles is the dominant theme. The other must-see temple in Valencia is San Nicolás, one of the oldest in the city, as its construction dates back to the times of the Reconquest of the city, that is, the 13th century.
